WellFully is happy to announce the comeback of its annual fundraiser; We Believe in Kids. The benefit dinner will be held October 21st at the Hotel Alex Johnson Ballroom.
Each year, WellFully invites our community to share their support of WellFully and the youth we serve by inviting family and friends to this fun and meaningful event. If you've attended the We Believe in Kids benefit dinner in the past, you know what a big impact our attendees, donors, and supporters have made telling their stories.
This year we wanted to make the event a fun night out with great food, great people, and entertainment by the Dueling Duo.
Guests will also hear the success stories from past and present youth clients, telling how they have been helped by the dedicated WellFully staff. In describing how WellFully lead her to want to continue her education, one applicant for a 2019 scholarship said "My teen life was spent in group homes, and to give back to kids who I can relate to would be an honor. I want to be able to wake up every day and enjoy going to work and helping people will fulfill this desire."
The highlight of the “We Believe in Kids” evening will be the awarding of college scholarships to those deserving WellFully Alumni whose hard work has encouraged them to further their education after graduating high school. To be eligible for these awards, the high school seniors or college students are required to have been a part of the various WellFully Behavioral, Addiction Recovery and Psychiatric Residential programs. With the opening of the Adolescent Crisis Care Center, the scholarships are also open to anyone who made use of their services well.
Tickets are $75 per person and may be purchased at wellfullypacc.org/we-believe-in-kids. Funds raised during the “We Believe in Kids” Benefit Dinner and throughout the year go directly into the WellFully programs including an ongoing scholarship fund.
